What to look forward to

Make lasting memories this May half term at our outdoor education centres in the beautiful Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty or majestic North Yorkshire Moors National Park. We’ll be offering high energy activities including canoeing, caving, high ropes, paddleboarding and sailing. Programmes are carefully developed for young people aged 8 and upwards to enjoy with their families. Activities will be decided by us on the morning of each day as some are weather dependant and subject to change for safety reasons.

Please make sure you bring all items on the what to bring list below – that way you and your family will be covered no matter what the weather and activities we choose to do.

are your family days inclusive?

We aim to be an activities provider where everyone is treated fairly and with respect. We want everyone to reach their potential, and we recognise that some young people require extra support to enable them to achieve this, be successful, and thrive. We recognise that some young people have additional needs or physical disabilities that require support and assistance. We will assess the individual needs of each young person in consultation with their parents prior to their attending our Family Activity Days and will make reasonable adjustments to ensure that young people can access our services and are made to feel welcome.  We are always happy to discuss and see how we can accommodate participation.
