When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
Children’s Artist, but then I was very lucky to go to an outdoor center in Northern Ireland at age 14 and decided I wanted to rather be an Outdoor Instructor.
What was your favourite subject in school?
P.E. and Art
What is your favourite outdoor activity?
Sailing. I used to work on a square rigger and sailed around the world for four years.
Are there any outdoor activities that scare you?
I used to be afraid of heights but no longer.
What is the next skill you would like to learn?
I love cake decorating and would love to progress my skills in that.
Which famous person would you most like to meet?
Ellen MacArthur, the solo round the world sailor.
Where do you dream of visiting one day?
I’ve been incredibly lucky to travel to loads of places. I would like to return and spend more time in New Zealand and scuba dive there.
