A practical course which looks at the management of groups on school trips. These sessions will be based at a range of popular venues used by school groups. The skills gained on this course are transferable to a range of other venues.

Risk assessing the venue for your group
Understanding the activities on offer at the venue. For example: If Brimham Rocks is used this would include: the geology of the area; geocaching; orienteering and using the venue for other curriculum linked activities
Managing an incident
