Teachers wanting to start delivering forest schools activities in their own schools who also want to gain the full Level 3 qualification

5 x 8 Hour Sessions

Forest Schools offer young people the opportunity to attend regular sessions in which they can learn all about and develop themselves holistically in a student centered environment.
This course builds on the content of the NYCC Forest School Leader course with the inclusion of additional inputrelating to the Level 3 qualification.
Following this course, candidates need to plan and deliver a series of Forest School sessions and produce a portfolio of evidence that will provide the basis for assessment.
Nationally recognised Forest School qualifications are available via the national awarding organisation Open awards. North Yorkshire Outdoor Learning Service is a recognised providing centre for these qualifications at level 3.
