SUITABILITY
Suitability: Ideal for individuals delivering sessions on artificial climbing walls or towers. You must be registered on the Climbing Wall Instructor scheme and have:
- Visited 3 different climbing walls on at least 15 occasions
- Led 10 routes at French grade 4 (or equivalent)
Climbing Wall Instructor training
This 2-day Climbing Wall Instructor training course develops the skills and judgement required to run safe, inclusive, and effective climbing and bouldering sessions on artificial structures. It is ideal for climbing wall staff, teachers, youth workers and volunteers operating in indoor environments.
After completing the course, you will consolidate your learning through logged experience using the Mountain Training DLOG system before progressing to assessment.
