Forest School Level 3
This modular training course provide delegates with a flexible approach to acquiring the competency to lead Forest Skills activities within their workplace setting.
Delegates have the following booking options:
1. Complete the full Forest Schools Level 3 training programme – 5 days
2. Complete days 1-3 and receive a NYC Forest School Leader Accreditation
3. Complete days 4 and 5 (Open Bladed Tools and Open Fires and Cooking).

Woodland ecology
Bushcraft (shelters, knots, simple tools, fire lighting and Kelly kettles)
Safety and management (consents, permissions, risk assessments)

Outcomes
Upon completion of this training course all delegates will have the skills required to lead forest school activities in their setting. Delegates wishing to gain the Level 3 Open Award will need to undergo a period of consolidation where they can practice skills learnt during training and prepare their portfolio of evidence.
